Spay Memphis offers even more reduced pricing than their regular rate of $100/dog and $60/cat via various grants when available for qualified applicants. There are currently no available grant funds at this time. Spay Memphis will update their available grants when/if funds become available, so be sure to check for updates prior to booking an appointment.

Per Spay Memphis: Thanks to a generous grant from the MuttNation Foundation, we are able to offer $50 spay/neuter surgeries for mixed breed dogs, whose pet owner cannot afford our full price of $100. Dog MUST be listed as a mixed breed and cannot be purchased from a breeder or pet store.
Spay it Forward Grant: Pet owners who receive government assistance, including disability, can have their pet’s spay/neuter discounted ($40 for dogs and $20 for cats). Can only be used for dogs and domestic cats. Proof of government assistance is required on appointment date, if not uploaded when scheduling.
SENIORS 65+
H.W. Durham Foundation Grant: available for pets of senior citizens over age 65, and reduces the price of dog spay/neuter to $40 and reduces the price of cat spay/neuter to $20. Funding IS limited but is currently still available. Proof of age/ID is required to receive the discounted price (either by uploading a photo of your ID when scheduling online appointments or showing ID the morning of your pet’s appointment) and the “grant funding” option needs to be selected when booking the appointment online
Thanks to a generous grant from the Margarette J. Sather Animal Welfare Fund, we are able to once again offer lower-cost spay and neuter surgeries for pitbull and pitbull mix breed dogs. With this funding, the cost is only $40! To qualify, your dog must be listed as a pit-bull or pitbull mix.

Bluff City Feral Friends’ “Livy’s Legacy” grant reduces the cost of spay/neuter surgery, including rabies vaccine, to $10.00 per cat for local trappers practicing TNR in their community.
This grant fund is limited, so trappers must email bluffcityferalfriends@gmail.com for prior approval. Only Community Cats are eligible, and all Feral Cat policies apply.
